This is a mattress rail and bunkie board / wood support set. Rails bolt onto the head and footboard and hold them together as a unit. The wooden bed slats lay across the rails to support a mattress. These bed slats eliminated the need for link spring or box spring.The bed rails are for full size beds that already include head and foot boards. They're made of high tensile steel and have double rivets that hold the end plates on.
